- 34 new homes instead of 33; providing a greater emphasis on family units and providing increased private amenity to residents from the 2021 scheme;
- A different approach to the refurbishment and extension of the buildings, to be more in keeping with the area;
- A more comprehensive landscape design to better enhance the setting of the site;
- Elimination of gas boilers replaced with super efficient air source heat pumps and other sustainable measures
- Improved accessibility and compliance with current fire regulations.
This will result in an overall unit mix as follows:

A well developed mix of family homes will allow a strong and new community identity to be created in the Brook Green area, similar to those that already exist at Oxford Gate and Windsor Way and bringing back to life The Old School on the Green.
By converting a vacant property into a well designed, sensitively landscaped and attractive new residential site the Brook Green area can benefit from the opportunities for families and professionals coming to live in such a sought after neighbourhood.
We are determined to create a new sustainable addition to the community off Brook Green that encourages sustainable travel and reduces congestion. It’s prime location near numerous tube stations and bus stops allows for increased use of public transport.
Our plans include:
- Extensive cycle-secure and refuse facilities;
- Reducing parking capacity to encourage people to use nearby public transport services; only 3 blue badge spaces will be provided.
- Re-landscaping the internal courtyard with emphasis on providing an improved urban greening factor to encourage a greater level of biodiversity
- Renewed emphasis on sustainable travel measures such as walking, cycling and the use of public transport, with cycle parking provided in line with current standards;
- The replacement of gas boilers from the 2021 consent and the introduction of super efficient air source heat pumps and other sustainable measures.
